Ahead of the Super Bowl LX clash between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, President Donald Trump weighed in when one reporter asked for his pick between the two teams. 

"I can't say that. But they are really two good teams...You had one quarterback who looked like he wasn’t gonna make it, and he made it. And then you have another one who’s young, and they probably wish they played him last year, right?”

President Trump was referring to this year's redemption arc for Seattle Seahawks QB, Sam Darnold. After being snapped up by the Jets as the third pick, Darnold spent a few years battling poor form between 2020 and 2023. However, after one season with the Minnesota Vikings and now with the Seahawks, he's looking like the No. 3 draft pick once again. But he's not the only QB coming into the game with a mission.

New England Patriots' QB, Drake Maye, is also on a mission. Touted as Tom Brady's true successor, Maye took the starting role this season after getting his first start after five losses last year. And he's proven himself so far. 31 touchdowns and 4394 yards to push the Patriots to a 14-3 record this year.

Perhaps that's why President Trump added, “I think it’s gonna be a great game. There’s a lot of interesting storylines.”

As fans may remember, this game was over a decade in the making. The last time the Patriots went against the Seahawks in a Super Bowl, we saw a 14-point comeback in the fourth quarter and a late interception that determined the title.

And while President Trump hasn't made a pick for the winner, will we see him at the game?

Will Trump be attending Super Bowl LX?

Earlier this year, President Trump became the first sitting President to attend a regular season game in nearly half a century when he was in the stands for the Washington Commanders' 44-22 loss against the Detroit Lions.

And after he attended the College Football National Championship game, fans wondered if President Trump would be at the Super Bowl. While he was present at the game last year, he's not attending this year.

In an interview with the New York Post, he explained, "It’s just too far away. I would. I’ve [gotten] great hands [at] the Super Bowl. They like me."
