NFL Legend Gives Major Update Over Life-Threatening Disease After 2 Years of Struggle
NFL legend and Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss has revealed that he has successfully overcome his battle with cancer.
Moss, who is now part of ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown, made his return to TV. He underwent treatment for bile duct cancer, a life-threatening condition.
He first found the diagnosis in 2024, which forced him to stop his media and broadcasting commitments.
Speaking on his uphill battle, he said, “It’s just a great day, man,” while being on air with ESPN.
Drafted in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, Moss quickly established himself in the NFL. His performances won him the Offensive Rookie of the Year award that year.
Over his 14-year career, he had stints with the New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and the Tennessee Titans. He has covered over 15,000 yards with 982 receptions over his stellar career and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018.
Despite his battle with cancer, Moss was optimistic about his recovery. His return marks a feel-good moment for fans, players, and broadcasters alike.
