It was a rough day for the New York Jets and their fans at the NFL Combine after cameras caught their head coach, Aaron Glenn, dozing off during the trials.

This upcoming season is a second chance for the head coach, who had a bottom-of-the-table season in 2025, as the Jets finished 3-14.

In the Combine last Thursday at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, during a trial for defensive linemen and linebackers, Aaron Glenn was caught napping, while the camera panned to him.

NFL Network host Rich Eisen was saying, “As Aaron Glenn looks on for the Jets,” while Glenn suddenly realized the camera was on him and sat up straight and looked around.

To make matters worse, the Jets currently hold the second overall pick. With the 2^nd pick on the line, Glenn's sleeping did not bode well with the fans.

The internet went ablaze as people caught on to the funny moment unfolding on the screen in live television.

Barstool Sports' clip was enough for fans' imaginations to run wild.

“He was just resting his eyes. I do it all the time when my wife and I start a movie, ask her,” one whimsical fan commented.

Another fan agreed. “Not exactly the first impression you want to make as a new head coach, the Jets can't catch a break.”

This is not a good look for a head coach trying to set the record straight after a disastrous first season. The Jets continue their dry run, missing the playoffs for the 15^th consecutive season.

Aaron Glenn was earlier the talk of the town when he said, “play calling is his superpower”. Fans were quick to catch on to this when he was caught sleeping instead of paying attention.

“To be fair, bro never said his superpower was staying awake,” one fan chimed in.

However, many fans also supported Glenn, saying it was natural to be tired, and moments like this are bound to happen when cameras are on you all the time.

“Or maybe he was tired.  Maybe he was bored, that happens to humans, you know.  Who knows what led up to this moment?  We are too highly critical of everything,” one empathetic fan wrote.
