"You have to speak life into yourself": Shedeur Sanders sends a strong message to Fans After Tough Loss

Since Shedeur Sanders’ debut as the Cleveland Browns’ quarterback, he has only won 1 match out of 5. After suffering another tough loss against the Bills in Week 16, he sent a powerful message to the fans.

In the post-game press conference, Sanders talked about how people missed the context of quarterback coverage. “If you’re in a world of pleasing people, you’ll never be happy. So I’m thankful that I was able to prove myself,” he said.

He also expressed how grateful he was to improve game by game and become the difference maker for the team. “I am able to play on time, that I’m able to step up in the pocket, like I’m able to do that. Like you know, you got to speak life into yourself.”

Sanders had a pretty average outing against the Bills. He threw for 157 yards and scored a touchdown to give Cleveland the lead. However, he suffered a minor finger injury and went to the locker room. Thankfully, he was able to replace Dillon Gabriel on the pitch.

Although the rookie QB recorded 49 rushing yards and moved some big plays, he got intercepted twice in the match, making it 5 times in the last two games. Moreover, a couple of costly sacks in the final quarter meant the Browns would lose a pretty close game against Josh Allen and company.

It will be intriguing to see how Sanders performs in the remaining two games without the service of the fellow rookie running back, Quinshon Judkins.

Shedeur Sanders talks about Quinshon Judkins’ injury

The Browns’ leading running back, Quinshon Judkins, dislocated his ankle and fractured his fibula in the 23-20 loss to the Bills and will be out for the rest of the season.

Shedeur Sanders talked about his impact on the team as another rookie and how much his services will be missed. “It really hurt when Quinshon went down, like me and Quinshon were in the room yesterday till like 11 - 11:30, just about life, because the type of person he is and he’s been through a lot.”

He also talked about building “new energy” among the younger guys, which would be healthy for the team going into the next season. Judkins has scored 7 touchdowns for Cleveland this season, for 827 rushing yards in 14 games.

Unfortunately, Judkins didn't make an impact against the Bills. He only recorded 22 rushing yards and 29 receiving yards before the Bills' linebacker Matt Milano tackled him. With him out, only time will tell whether Sanders manages to lead the team or not.
