The Famous WWE superstar Mike "The Miz" Mizanin was ready to write his beloved Cleveland Browns off from this year's Super Bowl contention.

However, he did a complete 180-degree turn on his predictions. The 2026 NFL draft was the key reason behind it.

"This is the first media I’m doing after the draft. This is the first time that I’ve said this. I’m going to make a statement. This is my statement: For the past six months, I’ve been saying that the Cleveland Browns are going to be the worst team. This is the first year that I said we’re not going to the Super Bowl. Now, after the draft, the Cleveland Browns are going to the Super Bowl. We have everything," said the Miz in an interview with Fantasy Sports Radio.

So what won the Miz over? Obviously, how the draft went and the additions the team made to strengthen their lineup, have changed the hometown boy's opinion.

The Ohio-born superstar couldn't help but be impressed.

With the likes of Spencer Fano, who allowed just 1.1% pressure rate in 2025, and KC Concepcion, an explosive playmaker with 79% of his catches going for first downs in 2025, GM Andrew Berry's picks have hit the spot where it mattered.

Moreover, rookies like Emmanuel McNeil-Warren and Denzel Boston are being viewed as steals.

It's a win-win for Miz. While he had lost faith in his team after their loss to the Cowboys in the 2024 season, that long-lost belief is now restored.

But that has also added quite a lot of questions about who Todd Monken would play as the QB1 on his team.

Todd Monken Keeps Quarterback Options Open At Cleveland

Todd Monken recently provided an important update on who he felt should lead the fray between Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson, and the answer was surprising.

"It’s my job to let it play out," he said during an interview on Cleveland's WKRK-FM.

Monken's comment made it clear that he wasn't willing to divulge much. The Browns will resume their training camp in late July, and maybe he will have an answer then.

According to Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot, Watson was usually first in line as the group rotated through drills, but Monken has revealed the script called for Sanders to take more reps.

Apart from these two prime operators, there's also Taylen Green, the quarterback who could jump in as the third quarterback vying for a spot. Monken, however, is unperturbed about the tough calls he has to make soon.

"I’m not there yet, so I can’t say (there’s a leader). We’ve been on the field three practices, which was awesome. Now we're back off for three weeks. It's always changing based on what you see," Monken concluded.

So, as things stand, the competition is going to alternate between these three without a clear winner. But we will get a clear picture of who gets the final push as the training regimen kicks off.
