"We Have A Standard": Kevin Stefanski Drops Team Status After Horrible Campaign
The Cleveland Browns are eliminated from the NFL 2025 season with an embarrassing 3-11 record and are now just playing for their pride.
Head Coach Kevin Stefanski took part in the press conference ahead of the Browns’ clash against the Bills on Sunday and dropped a few updates on the team.
When asked about the team getting worn down during games, Kevin had one thing to say: "I think we have a standard for how we play. Again, I give credit to the teams we've gone against, but we understand what it takes to stop a really good run offense, it's not easy."
Stefanski was asked about Myles Garrett and his thoughts on him breaking the record for most sacks in a single season. Well, let’s just say their focus was not on that.
“That’s not his focus. His focus is on doing his job every single day,” he said. “The record itself, it's fun for our fans to be a part of that, but that’s not all his focus.”

When he was asked about the rookie QB Shedeur Sanders and whether he would be benefited by wide receiver Cedric Tillman’s comeback, he was optimistic about it.
“Obviously, when it comes to the pass game, you want to spread the ball around to as many runners and wide receivers,” Stefanski explained. “I think that makes you tougher to defend when you’re spreading the ball around.”
Despite a horrible campaign, some Browns’ stars have made their marks with incredible individual performances. While QB Sandrers has scored 5 touchdowns for 946 passing yards, Quinshon Judkins has been the rushing leader for the team, scoring 7 touchdowns for 805 rushing yards.
Veteran defensive tackle Myles Garrett has recorded 21.5 sacks and is just 1 away from breaking the record. He is going to be crucial against the 10-4 Bills and their QB, Josh Allen.
However, the main question is, how are the Browns going to line up against the Bills with so many injuries?
Kevin Stefanski Gives an Injury Update
The Browns might have the longest injury-list ahead of their clash against the Bills. Defensive tackle Mason Graham and Linebacker Carson Schwesinger (ankle) are questionable for the next game. Meanwhile, QB Deshaun Watson is out for the season due to an Achilles injury.
When asked about Deshaun’s progress, Kevin Stefanski stated, "No update. Just continues to do a good job,” he said. “He is doing some of it, just having a progression there.”
Talking about offensive tackle Jack Conklin, the Browns’ HC revealed that he was still going through the concussion protocol and was unsure of his return.
In the end, Stefanski didn’t rule any player out who wasn’t practicing ahead of Sunday’s game, suggesting everybody was trending in the right direction.
