"Want Him to Flip Burgers": Young Fan Frustrated with Kevin Patullo After Rough Loss to Eagles

The defending champions have been knocked out of the 2025-26 NFL season with a 19-23 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Fans were obviously not happy with the way the team performed. A young fan took the spotlight with his remarks for Kevin Patullo and the team. "

"I'm feeling two of two things. A, I want AJ Brown packing his bags, and I want him somewhere else that is not here. I love you, AJ, but like you can't make those drops in that game. And I also want Kevin Petullo flipping burgers at like the local McDonald's or something. I don't care. "

When asked why he would say that for Patullo, the young Eagles fan said, "Whenever he's an offensive coordinator, it's like he's flipping burgers. One side he's cooking, one half he's cooking, and the other half is completely raw."

Brown finished the game with only three catches for 25 yards, and he had two drops on seven targets. And it's not the child alone that is frustrated with Kevin Patullo; critics have bashed the OC as well.

The Ringer's Diante Lee said in his report, "Head coach Nick Sirianni and his play-calling offensive coordinator, Kevin Patullo, have no one to blame but themselves for the Eagles’ early playoff exit. Scoring just 19 points in a home playoff loss is a tough look for the defending champs..."

Kevin Patullo was a big reason why the Eagles disappointed this season

The Eagles prioritized their offense coming into the 2025-26 season. In a report from July 2025, it was estimated that they’re spending about $146,676,032 on offense, while only spending $65,557,783 on defense. Yet after that, they had a PPG of 22.3.

It ranked 19th amongst all NFL teams. On top of that, they only rushed for 1,988 yards, 18th highest in the league. Critics have pointed out that the team’s second‑half production collapsed. They averaged just 9.7 points after halftime, one of the NFL’s lowest outputs.

John Stolnis of Bleeding Green Nation wrote in his report, "At no point this season did the Eagles’ offensive coaching staff regularly confuse opposing defenses or put them in conflict. They essentially ran a preseason-like vanilla offense that only functioned to the degree it did because of the talent on the roster."
