Travis Kelce is known for his intensity on the field, but off the field, he is also quite a character. This week, the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end shared a funny anecdote from his life that happened at the Hamptons music festival.

During a recent live episode of the "New Heights" podcast with his brother Jason, he spilled the beans on the embarrassing incident. Jason repeatedly asked Travis, "Do you really wanna tell us?" double-checking to make sure he is okay with divulging this scoop.

" I get over there to meet Buffet. Shake his hand, and we had the best conversation I've ever had in my life," said Travis, "The man was literally smiling from ear to ear. I'm thinking I'm gonna be rich here soon. And then he starts telling a story in high school when he picked up the guitar for the first time."

Little did Kelce know that he was thinking of the wrong 'Buffet' all along.

"I was like right to his face 'No way Warren Buffett played the guitar all the time and his face went from smiling ear to ear to not smiling at all."

The mistake happened when Travis made a mix-up between billionaire entrepreneur Warren Buffett and musician Jimmy Buffett. Kelce describes it as a case of 'face blindness'.

The audience burst into laughter when he made that hilarious admission. Buffett then had to go to the stage to sing Margaritaville later leaving Kelce behind, confounded.

Travis Kelce Scraps Wedding Venue In Rhode Island

Travis Kelce recently scrapped his wedding venue from Rhode Island to Madison Square Garden. According to TMZ, Kelce and his fiancée, singer Taylor Swift, were scheduled to wed at Ocean  House Resort in Rhode Island. The wedding was originally scheduled for June 13.

A fireworks company was also reportedly hired for a show, but it was later revealed that the venue had been shifted to New York City. It was later revealed that Kelce and Swift decided not to proceed further with the original plan.

As per reports of Page Six, the couple has now changed it to New York City. Swift's Rhode Island mansion has also seen a lot of activity recently.

While the date of their marriage has not officially been revealed, July 3rd is expected to be the tentative date, right before Independence Day. Madison Square Garden is expected to serve as the new venue. For now, though, fans will just have to wait a little more for that official confirmation.
