Tony Rizzo Makes Surprising John Harbaugh Claim as Browns Rumors Grow Wild

The NFL coaching carousel is spinning, and a Super Bowl winner is now on the market.
According to veteran sports analyst Tony Rizzo, multiple teams have inquired about the Pro-Bowl winning head coach, including the Cleveland Browns.
“Let me state for the record right now that the Browns did call his agent. Of course, the Browns called, and so did six other teams within 45 minutes of John Harbaugh being fired.”
It shouldn't be a surprise. Even President Donald Trump urged the Browns to sign him on as their head coach. And the move could make sense.
After multiple seasons out of the playoffs, the Browns need a move back to the top. He could be the coach to steer Shedeur Sanders into becoming a franchise QB and bring the Browns their first Lombardi.
Moreover, he has an outstanding 180-113 record across 18 years. By hiring him for the next season, Cleveland could use his expertise to finally put up a fight in the AFC North.
His Ohio roots might tempt the Cleveland Owners to offer him a blockbuster contract. And according to one update from a family member, the Browns could be out of the picture.
John Harbaugh's brother reveals where he wants to see the former Ravens coach go
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh weighed in on his brother's situation, whether he stays out of the coaching job or if he finds a new team.
"He'll be a head coach next year. We'll be playing against him in some form or fashion…Just hope it's in the NFC."
The NFC is unfamiliar ground, but it could see Harbaugh face off with his brother as they once did when the Ravens took on the Steelers.
For now, one thing is clear. John Harbaugh could be the leading candidate for the Browns' job.
