Tom Brady Wins Over Fans with Ben Affleck & Jennifer Aniston Link-up for Super Bowl Ad

What happens when iconic '90s sitcom stars and a legendary quarterback come together for a movie that never was? Well, you’re in for a treat with the Dunkin' Donuts spin-off of “Good Will Hunting.”

Released during the Super Bowl game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, Dunkin has come forth to support their county.

Afterall, this game is a huge moment for the franchise and its fans. The Patriots have appeared in the finale after seven dud years and are fighting in their 12th Super Bowl campaign.

On Sunday, the commercial, “Good Will Dunkin,” followed the journey of a lost but genius Will Hunting, played by Affleck this time.

The New England-based coffee shop chain roped in Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady, Matt LeBlanc, Jason Alexander, and others in its “heavily-Dunkin’-branded Boston sitcom.”

But things were not looking well for the team. Led by 23-year-old quarterback Drake Maye, who is expected to follow up on Brady’s legacy, the Patriots fell massively short. In the fourth quarter, the Patriots were trailing behind the Seahawks 13-29. Moreover, Maye gave away three turnovers and was sacked six times.

On the flip side, the Seahawks are having a blast on the field and are set to end this season with an easy victory. The Seahawks are a defensive powerhouse with 1045 tackles and 47 sacks. And the Patriots, who scored 28.8 points per game, relied on their offense.

Which is why Brady said that may the best team win

But His Comments Put Him Under Fire Online...

“I don’t have a dog in this fight,” Brady opened up. But the quarterback-turned-analyst upset many fans with his comments. Many felt betrayed since Brady refused to back the franchise he spent 20 years with.

Thus, his cameo in the new commercial has been a pleasant surprise for fans. He appeared for just a few seconds as Aniston’s new boyfriend and had only one dialogue.

“Hi, I am Tom,” Brady said.

From FRIENDS references to 'America Runs on Dunkin always,' the fans have deemed this one of the best SB commercials ever

But this is not the first time Brady has collaborated with Dunkin’. In fact, this is the second time Affleck and Brady have worked together. In 2024, the duo collaborated for their ‘man-band’, the DunKings, and were joined by actor Matt Damon, singer Jennifer Lopez, and rapper Jack Harlow.

Did you like the unlikely collab? Or do you have a different pick for the best Super Bowl ads? Let us know in the comments!
