Tom Brady Voices Concern After Controversial Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft HOF Update
The Pro Football Hall of Fame (HoF) is still under fire for “snubbing” franchise owner Robert Kraft and former head coach Bill Belichick. Amidst a massive online uproar, legendary former quarterback Tom Brady has voiced his opinion.
In his Tuesday appearance on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Brady reiterated his disappointment with the HoF’s decision and stated he is worried for the time when he’s up.
“Maybe it's not trending so well for ex-Patriots. Maybe I should be a little concerned here,” Brady opined.
Before this, he condemned the institution and said he could not think of anyone more deserving than Kraft and Belichick.

The six-time Super Bowl champion made his statement after Belichick, who coached Brady and the Patriots for those victories, was not inducted into the HoF in his first eligible year. It was later revealed that he lost by one vote out of the 40 required in the 50-member panel.
And he’s not the only one. Kraft, who has owned the franchise for 32 years, was also excluded from the honor. NFL expert Stephen A Smith opined that these decisions are “disrespectful” and “egregious” and speculated that Brady might be next.
“Based on the trend, they're going to do it to Tom Brady, too. It makes no sense whatsoever, and as far as I'm concerned, it's the Hall of Shame,” he added.
“They’ve (HoF) minimized and diluted their own product. If you can’t have Tom Bardy up in there as the first Hall of Famer, the credibility of the institution goes right out the window.”
This Award Does Not Validate Brady’s Illustrious Career
The 48-year-old began his career in 2000 after he was drafted as the 199th pick overall. As a rookie, he attempted three passes before he replaced Drew Bledsoe after he was injured. Brady won his first Super Bowl in 2001.
He then won five more and spent 20 out of 23 years with the Patriots.
He recorded 649 touchdowns for 89,214 yards. He has 12 playoff wins and six playoff-winning drives between 2000 and 2006.
The Patriots suffered after Brady left the franchise, when he and Belichick could not mitigate their differences. However, Brady thrived even with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won his final championship with them.
There are two more years until Brady is eligible to be voted into the HoF. And whether or not he is inducted on the first ballot will be answered then.
Many fans claim that Brady has nothing to worry about. But what do you think of this matter?
