Tom Brady Reveals Drake Maye’s Best Quality Ahead of Biggest Career Game

At just 23, Drake Maye has led the Patriots to a 14-3 record and helped them stay undefeated in the playoffs so far. And if this wasn't enough, Tom Brady showered him with praise ahead of the AFC Championship game against the Broncos.

Making an appearance on The Herd, the seven-time Super Bowl winner called Maye an "ultimate team player." However, that wasn't the only thing he said when host Colin Cowherd spoke about Maye's humility.

"I see Drake Maye, I literally feel like I'm watching you when you were young. That had to have jumped out to you, has it not?" asked Cowherd. That's when Brady expanded on Maye's best quality.

"If you're not humble, this game will humble you… Drake Maye has that humility. Everything that comes out of his mouth is always about the team," said Tom Brady.

However, Colin Cowherd wasn't the only one who drew similarities between Brady and Maye. A few days ago, New England Owner Robert Kraft said something similar.

“I saw Drake last year when we had that horrible record, he did something that Tommy did in the locker room in the early years. He used to go around to every offensive lineman, even after we had a bad loss, and, in a genuine way, make them feel that he really respected what they did.”

The Patriots' team chemistry is evident from his stats. In 17 games, Maye has scored 31 touchdowns and thrown for 4,394 yards. If the Patriots want to win their first Super Bowl since the Tom Brady era, he must be on fire in all cylinders against a formidable opponent.

Can Drake Maye Stay Unbeaten in Postseason?

A few weeks ago, Drake Maye hadn't played a playoff game in his career. Now he's unbeaten and just one step away from Super Bowl Glory.

In the Wild Card playoff game, New England dominated the 16-3 Chargers, with Maye scoring a touchdown for 268 passing yards. In the Divisional playoff win against the Texans, he threw for 179 yards and 3 scores.

However, in both games, one flaw was revealed that the Broncos may capitalize on. He was sacked five times in each match. The 23-year-old will be going up against one of the best defenses this season in Denver.

So the question is, will Drake Maye's humility on the field help New England stay unbeaten? Tell us what you think in the comments.
