Tom Brady Makes Bold Claim as NFL Legend Drops Massive Statement on Return

NFL GOAT, Tom Brady, had an interesting take on Philip Rivers’ comeback at the age of 44.
While talking to Colin Cowherd on The Herd earlier this week, the seven-time Super Bowl champion was asked about whether the fans could expect a comeback from him as well.
Brady stated, “Yes, I certainly could.”
The Patriots’ legend confessed that he couldn’t un-retire himself despite wanting to do the same. "I think the answer for me would be yes. I'm not allowed to anymore because I'm a minority owner of the Raiders, so I can't unretire," Tom Brady explained on Thursday.
The Star QB announced his retirement in the 2022 season, after scoring 25 touchdowns and crossing the 4000-yard mark for the sixth consecutive season, with 4694 passing yards. And in May 2023, Tom Brady was granted 5% control.

In the same conversation with Colin Cowherd, Tom Brady also talked about Philip Rivers' return. “Who retires and then unretires and then is ultimately going to retire again? Who does that? That's ridiculous for Philip to do that," he said.
Brady also explained that mental toughness was the most important ability for quarterbacks, and he believed Rivers had that.
Philip Rivers is Making a Comeback with the Colts
The unexpected moment occurred after the Indianapolis starting quarterback, Daniel Jones, suffered a season-ending Achilles tendon injury in the first quarter against the Jaguars last week and was put on IR.
Rivers’ last season was with the Colts in 2020, where he scored 24 touchdowns for 4169 passing yards, leading them to an 11-5 record.
This season, the Colts are slowly losing the edge, having lost 3 matches in a row and now losing Jones for the remainder of the season as well. Will the 44-year-old veteran return be able help the Colts? Only time will tell. Let us know in the comments your thoughts in the comments down below!
