Todd Monken got his first win as Browns head coach as Cleveland pulled off a 23-19 comeback against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite a lengthy weather delay.

Once the game ended, Monken was seen headed toward the fans and shared high-fives with members of the traveling Dawg Pound.

The Browns posted the video on social media.

The Browns' defense came up big late, keeping Tampa Bay out of the end zone during a crucial red-zone stand, after a two-hour lightnight delay.

For Monken, celebrating with the fans added something extra to his first win. It also showed the kind of connection he hopes to build in Cleveland. For Baker Mayfield, the Bucs QB had a night to forget.

Todd Monken comments after Browns win

Head Coach Todd Monken spoke to the media after the Browns won and praised QB Deshaun Watson, who came under heavy criticism last week. Monken said:

"He played his rear end off in the second half and he's doing it really without us running the ball very well. I'm very happy for Deshaun and I'm happy for us and the team."

The Browns play their first home game of the season next as they welcome the Carolina Panthers.
