With the training camp fast approaching, the Cleveland Browns’ quarterback battle between Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders has taken all of the spotlight this offseason.

That has pushed last year's third-round pick, Dillon Gabriel, into the background. On top of that, the Browns used a sixth-round pick on Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green this year, leaving more questions than answers about Gabriel's future.

Amid the chaos, Sports Illustrated insider Rafael Zamorano has identified three teams that could be ideal landing spots for Gabriel.

Atlanta Falcons

The most logical trade as per the SI.com report would be with the Atlanta Falcons, where he would reunite with his former offensive coordinator, Tommy Rees.

However, the reunion is not the only reason why Atlanta might be a good spot for him. As of July, the Falcons have two quarterbacks, and both of them are lefties, just like Gabriel.

A room full of southpaws would be easier gameplay for the team. The ball spins and behaves differently when thrown by a right-hander.

Trevor Siemian currently sits third on the depth chart, making a Gabriel trade better for the team. The Falcons could offer a conditional draft pick, which might help Cleveland strengthen its quarterback room.

Indianapolis Colts

There have been rumors around the league that the Colts have given former first-round pick Anthony Richardson permission to seek a trade. According to Sports Illustrated, many believe the Cleveland Browns could be his next destination.

If Richardson exits the team, that would leave Riley Leonard and Easton Stick fighting for the QB2 spot. That's where Gabriel comes in, as he brings something neither of them can: NFL starting experience. Although a shaky one, he still holds the experience.

The Colts can offer a conditional seventh-round pick if he remains on the active roster for a certain number of games.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Lastly, it's the Jacksonville Jaguars, and here, it's not about Gabriel but about the math. Wideouts Parker Washington and Brian Thomas Jr. both have due paydays soon.

Trading defensive tackle Arik Armstead or offensive tackle Walker Little would create significant cap savings, though Gabriel would likely be included as a part of a larger package rather than a one-for-one deal.

Gabriel could compete with Joey Aguilar and Bradley Carter for the Jaguars QB3 role

For Cleveland, Armstead could be a monumental individual, as he could help mentor Mason Graham for the future.
