While many supporters remain behind the Denver Broncos, frustration over Deshaun Watson's presence has become increasingly difficult for the others to ignore.

Speaking on 92.3 The Fan, Ken Carman questioned whether some Browns fans had reached a point where they want the team to lose with Watson as their QB1:

"I think there's a lot of people who are Browns fans, and I'm not gonna say they're bad Browns fans. I think they want this to fail and fail as soon as possible [with Watson], so they're gonna take the Browns to lose, and I think they probably want them to lose."

Carman suggested that the issue goes beyond some fans simply doubting Watson's ability to succeed. He believes their frustration has reached a much deeper level:

"I think they hate the quarterback, and they don't want him out there and they think the sooner this ends the better it is for everyone involved."

The comments underline the depth of the divide surrounding Watson as Cleveland prepares for the season opener.

His tenure has instead brought injuries, inconsistent play, and growing frustration among sections of the fanbase. Some fans have now become impatient after the Browns chose Watson as QB1 over Shedeur Sanders.

The recently reported fall in ticket prices has also provided another indication of the current mood surrounding the team.
