“There’s nobody”: Tom Brady rips into Raiders over horror performances

Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl Champion and minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, provided his most blunt assessment of the team’s performance during the 2025 season.

“Last year, we just underperformed in every area, and it’s everybody’s fault. That’s the reality,” said Brady on the Stick to Football podcast. “There’s nobody who did a good job. There’s not one player in the organization, there’s not anybody involved that did the job to the level it needs to be done at. Everybody needs to improve”

The Las Vegas Raiders ended their 2025 campaign on a 3-14 record, their worst record since the 2014 season. Brady blamed everybody from the front office to the players, even himself, for the disappointing finish.

“It starts with me, and it filters down to the rest of the players on the field. They’ve got to go out there, and ultimately they’ve got to perform at a high level,” added Brady on the Stick to Football podcast.

The last time the Raiders had a winning season was in 2021, when they finished the regular season with a 10-7 record. Soon after, the team was eliminated during the playoffs.

Brady added that the bar is very high in terms of the improvement he expects the franchise to make for the upcoming season.

“A massive improvement. I would expect daily improvement, and I’d expect hourly improvement; I really would,” said Brady further in the podcast. “Every day that goes by, when you’re on a good team, every day and every week goes by, you should be better. Like, a good team should be better at the end of the season than the beginning of the season, or you’re not a good team.”

Brady has become more involved with the team, as the 2026 season marks his second full season as a minority owner. His comments on the Raiders’ 2025 season, however, didn’t sit well with an NFL insider.

NFL insider calls out Brady after his comments on the Raiders’ 2025 performance

NFL insider Mike Florio of NBC Sports ripped into Tom Brady after the former NFL QB critiqued the Raiders’ 2025 season.

Florio also called out Brady for compartmentalizing his role as a minority owner of the Raiders and also the lead color commentator at Fox Sports, citing a “conflict of interest”.

“The comment ‘It starts with me’,” said Florio on the NFL on NBC Pro Football Talk. “I didn’t know he was now the majority owner. It starts with Mark Davis. Unless Tom just realizes it really doesn't start with Mark Davis because he really isn’t in a position to know what he’s doing.”

Florio urged Brady to pick one lane in his post-NFL career. He concluded that the former QB should either go all-in and help the Raiders in their rebuilding phase or sell his minority stake in Las Vegas and focus on his commentary career.

Is Tom Brady right to hold everyone accountable, or is Mike Florio spot on about the conflict of interest? What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments.
