"Stop Talking": Ravens Star Claps Back at Fan After Latest Post Over Joining Divisional Rivals
Passionate fans can sometimes get carried away, and Kyle Van Noy has reminded one fan about it while replying to an X post questioning team loyalty.
Speaking of Patrick Queen and Malik Harrison, who are the Ravens' division rivals, the fan implied that players shouldn't consider signing with a rival team.
“Tony Jefferson was asked if he would play for the Steelers, he simply said absolutely not, I played for the Ravens… see this is how it should be always! Guys like PQ, Malik Harrison, clowns like them never bring them back !” the post said. Van Noy couldn't help but leave a comment.
“If you was offered MILLIONS you would be singing black and yellow until your lost your voice! Stop talkin like you know what it’s like to be in dudes shoes. Be respectful on this app cuz you be sayin some wild stuff !” he wrote.
In his 12 years within the NFL, Van Noy has played for three franchises after being drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2014. He won two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots in 2016 and 2018.
After signing with the Ravens in 2023, Van Noy stunned with 45 solo tackles in the first two seasons. He notched nine sacks in his debut and racked up 12.5 sacks in 2024. However, change is afoot at the Ravens.
Van Noy Has Clarified His Stance on Free Agency and his future
The 34-year-old managed only two sacks and 12 solo tackles this season. With Jesse Minter replacing former head coach John Harbaugh, Van Noy might be one of many changes the Ravens could be making, as the pending free agent’s future isn’t cemented.
In another X post, he stated the management hasn’t made up its mind about him. Although they could call him immediately, he hinted that the Ravens are waiting until free agency kicks off in March.
“How it works since ima ‘free agent’ The ravens/ EDC technically could offer me a contract at any point,” Van Noy wrote.
"Call me today or call my agent to say let’s get a deal done. Most teams usually wait until free agency, starts the beginning of March. It’s not really up to me unless I get offered a contract. So we shall see if they hit me up. I’ll let you know if they do," he added.
