Stefon Diggs Caught Crying on Camera After Ending Former Team’s Super Bowl Hopes

While the New England Patriots celebrated a spot in the Championship game, for WR Stefon Diggs, it was special for another reason.
After the game, a video of Diggs walking off the field with teary eyes went viral.
It was a full-circle moment for him, as he was a part of Houston last season, but didn’t make an impact because of a horrific ACL injury.
While playing for the Texans, he scored only 3 touchdowns for 496 receiving yards. It ultimately broke his streak of six consecutive 1000+ yard seasons. Houston traded Diggs to the Patriots in the offseason.
Coming into New England, the four-time Pro Bowler made an immediate impact. In 17 games this season, he scored 4 receiving touchdowns for 1013 yards. In the divisional playoffs round against the Texans, he scored a 13-yard touchdown to give New England the lead.
Even his partner, rapper Cardi B, took to X to say, "THEY DIDN’T BELIEVE IN US !!! I LIKE US!!!!! WE ALL WE GOT!!!!! WE ALL WE NEED !!!!"
Diggs maintained he wanted to continue the team's strong run. "I think there was a handful of commentators and people, the little tidbits that I do see – because I try not to see too much – they all picked Houston to win. I mean, for a good reason – that's a good football team, and I understand their vantage point. All we can do is come in, work hard during the week and put ourselves in the best position to win the game."
The 32-year-old now focuses on the Broncos, where he can break a unique record.
Stefon Diggs is on the verge of breaking a record
Currently, the 32-year-old has 965 postseason receiving yards. In the two playoff games this season, Diggs has scored a touchdown for 56 receiving yards.
He needs 35 more yards to cross the 1000-yard postseason mark. However, it won't be easy against Denver. Sean Payton's team ranks seventh in terms of the fewest receiving yards allowed with 187.2.
Will the four-time Pro Bowler cross the 1000+ postseason receiving yards? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
