6X Pro Bowl Star Rips Into Cleveland Browns Over O-Line Struggles Following Bills' Loss

The Buffalo Bills weren’t at their best in Sunday’s matchup against the Browns. Josh Allen was weakened by a foot injury, which could've allowed the Cleveland Browns to capitalize on the home advantage. However, the game turned into a close 23-20 loss.
Rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders made five passes for six points in the first drive and scored an opening drive touchdown. Despite starting strong, he was sacked twice and let down by the offensive line, as Terrell Owens pointed out.
In a post on X, the six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver made a big statement aimed at Browns’ offensive tackle Cam Robinson. He also didn't spare the offensive line or Shedeur Sanders’ performance either.
“I swear #68 must have a parlay on this game or something, this guy can’t block the sun," Terrell Owens posted.
“Entire OL is trash though. Frfr Shedeur can shoot a @Tide commercial after this game as much as he’s been on his back,” he added.
Then again, Owens' frustration wasn't without reason. For instance, the offense had an opportunity to play out a game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter. Sanders made an impressive 11-yard pass after receiving the ball on the 2-yard line, with 2:53 left in the game and down three. But he was sacked for a loss of eight yards.
The 23-year-old rookie completed 20 passes out of 29 for 157 yards. With a 13-yard passing touchdown to tight end Harold Fannin Jr., he put the Browns in the lead. But they started dropping soon after the lead, till they lost 20-23. However, the Browns HC hasn't lost hope in the QB.
Kevin Stefanski backed Shedeur Sanders
Despite criticism and losing a match by only three points, Sanders was praised by head coach Kevin Stefanski for his increased completion rate. “I think every one of these games are different in how you have to play the position and what the defense is giving you,” Stefanski said on a Zoom call on Monday.
Sanders started this season with 25 per cent and marked 69 per cent against the Bills in Week 16. The Browns, currently 3-12, are in desperate need to reassess and regroup, especially before the 2026 drafts roll around.
If Sanders becomes the Browns’ “franchise guy,” they need to support Sanders at the offensive tackle and wide receiver positions. The prospects for the OT position are Spencer Fano and Francis Maugioa. And Jordyn Tyson, alongside Carnell Tate, for the receiver position.
Only 2026 will tell if the Browns were affected by Owens’ words or failed to even notice them.
