Shedeur Sanders to deal with potential Browns mess

Recently, Todd Monken revealed that the widely covered Browns QB battle had come to an end. Who prevailed? Well, none other than the $230 million man, Deshaun Watson.

Who is QB2? Well, that role falls to sophomore star Shedeur Sanders. This has infuriated several Browns fans, all of whom were advocating for Sanders to start.

But, what makes this matter worse, is that Sanders may be forced to save the Browns should this Deshaun Watson experiment fail. As reporter Nick Pedone put it, the 24-year-old could be tasked with digging the Browns out of a deep hole.

Pedone believes that having Watson at the helm is at the most, a four week experiment. Should things go badly, Sanders will be asked come in and take the reins.

However, by that time it may be too difficult for the Browns to mount a comeback.

Deion Sanders speaks out on Browns snubbing Shedeur Sanders

As mentioned earlier, the Shedeur Sanders snub came as a surprise for many. After all, he seemed the clear cut choice for the QB1 spot, and his father, Deion Sanders thought so too.

Upon the announcement, the Hall of Famer made his feelings on the Browns' decision clear. During a press conference, he hinted that there be more to the decision behind the scenes.

Safe to say he isn't happy, but hopefully, the young QB will get the chance to prove himself at some point during the season.
