There's a lot of chatter surrounding Shedeur Sanders right now. After all, the sophomore star lost the QB battle in Cleveland to Deshaun Watson. But, that hasn't stopped him from living his life.

Say what you will about Sanders, but he doesn't forget his roots, and especially the people who have helped him on his journey. So, with that in mind it wasn't all that surprising to see him on another field that wasn't the Huntington Bank Stadium.

Regardless of whether he is the Browns starting QB this season or the next, Shedeur Sanders will always be a Colorado Buffalo, and he showed that tonight.

That's right, the 24-year-old showed up at Folsom Field to support the Buffaloes and of course his father, Coach Prime, Deion Sanders.

It's nice to see Sanders make a public appearance outside the NFL. Hopefully, he had a good time seeing his alma mater pick up the win.

NFL executives do not rate Shedeur Sanders highly

While it was fun seeing Shedeur Sanders out and about, the reality is he has to return to Cleveland. Where, the Browns seem intent on making him sit on the sidelines.

But, this isn't a major problem. At least according to other executives around the NFL. In fact, said executives are bewildered by the Browns' QB decisions this season.

The Athletic's Mike Sando revealed that executives do not rate Sanders whatsoever. They even went so far as to suggest that Cleveland has "doubled down on toxic" with their QB room.

It certainly is harsh criticism. But, hopefully, at some point during the season, Sanders is given the chance to silence his critics once and for all.
