A Cleveland Browns mainstay is on his way out. Wyatt Teller announced his departure from the team, and quarterback Shedeur Sanders' reaction summed up how many fans feel.

“I wish things were different, and this is hard to put into words,” Teller wrote on Instagram. He talked about his trade, his future, and how much love he had for Cleveland.

The post resonated emotionally with Shedeur Sanders, as he wrote what many Browns fans also felt. The Browns' QB shared his reaction to the news, commenting ":( gonna miss you bro" on the Instagram post.

Teller joined the Cleveland Browns on August 29, 2019, when he was traded from the Buffalo Bills to Cleveland. Sanders and Teller played together for one season with the Browns. Though he wasn't able to help the QB much.

In the 2025 season, Wyatt Teller played 765 offensive snaps, all at right guard, ranking 49th in total snaps among guards. He committed 4 penalties, allowed 3 sacks, and gave up 1 hit on the quarterback. In pass protection, he played 488 pass-block snaps, and 277 in run blocking.

According to ESPN metrics, among qualifying guards in the NFL, Teller ranked 57th out of 65 in pass‑block win rate and 40th out of 62 in run‑block win rate.

Myles Garrett and Joe Thomas joined Shedeur Sanders

Myles Garrett was also present in the comments section, and he wrote, "Love you brotha". Garrett has been on this team since 2017; he and Wyatt have won and lost a lot of games together.

The two have seen, and contributed to history in the making whenthe Browns qualified for the playoffs, ending a 17‑year postseason drought that dated back to 2002. Browns Hall‑of‑Fame legend Joe Thomas added a light‑hearted but heartfelt comment about missing Teller.
