Sean McDermott Offers Strong Praise for Shedeur Sanders Despite Tough Start

Before the upcoming Sunday showdown, Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott talked about one Browns player
He showered rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders with praise, crediting him with making the Browns' offense better.
“Good player, good young player off to a great start. Dangerous with the toolset that he brings to the table."

Sanders has been the Cleveland Browns’ breakthrough star. In Week 12, he hauled an unexpected 52-yard deep pass to Isiah Bond. Two weeks later, Sanders scored three touchdowns, made a 58-yard screen pass to Judkins, and a 60-yard touchdown toss to Jerry Jeudy. But that's not all.
Sanders has scored five touchdowns for 946 passing yards across five games. Against the Las Vegas Raiders and Titans, Sanders’ passing yards exceeded 200 yards, a mark only Joe Flacco had made in Week 2 before his trade.
“He’s done a great job. I think their offense has ratcheted up since he’s been under center,” McDermott pointed out. Outside of the Bears game, that has stood true. Even in that Week 15 loss, Sanders made brave plays.
But will that be enough for Shedeur Sanders against the Bills?
The Bills are certainly not going to make things any easier for Sanders this weekend. Behind the Browns, they've given up the lowest amount of passing yards.
But does that faze Sanders? Not at all. Even after the Bears loss, Sanders sounded confident about going up against Buffalo.
"Whatever it takes to win, I’m excited for it. And like, having those challenges, going against the Bears, going against all these great teams, like, I’m excited for it. I never ducked challenges and I’m thankful for it because I’m able to see, I’m able to see everything."
Sanders, although inconsistent, is talented. Will he be a cause of worry to McDermott or prove him wrong?
