Seahawks Star Rips Into Puka Nacua Over Sam Darnold Dig During Super Bowl

The Seattle Seahawks won their second-ever Super Bowl this Sunday, beating the New England Patriots by 29-13.
However, the Los Angeles Rams' star receiver, Puka Nacua, added some spice to the divisional rivalry by taking a shot at quarterback Sam Darnold. However, this prompted a sharp response from one of his former teammates.
After the Seahawks got their hands on the Lombardi trophy, linebacker and Nacua's former teammate, Ernest Jones IV, trolled him by saying, "Ain’t you at home. Goofy a**."
Now, just a few days after their Super Bowl win, Jones appeared on The Rich Eisen Show for an interview. When asked why he defended Darnold, Jones gave a direct answer.
"Don't say nothing about my teammates. Then you talk about my quarterback. I'm not going for it," Jones said. "So I get on my phone, and people are congratulating me, and this pops up. So, of course, I had to respond to an old teammate of mine."
He later shared a story that glorified his relationship with Darnold. After a tough 21-19 loss against the Rams in Week 11, the quarterback blamed himself for the loss, and Jones was moved by the gesture.
Jones consoled him by saying it wasn't his fault, and as players, they should've done better for him. However, in the end, it all worked out, as the Seahawks not only avenged it with a 31-27 win over Los Angeles, but also won the Super Bowl.
Puka Nacua Is Clearly Not a Fan of the Seahawks
The NFC West rivalry between the Seahawks and the Rams just got spicier, thanks to Puka Nacua.
While appearing on the Underdog production for an interview, he was asked to name the teams he didn't like. His answer is unlikely to please Seahawks fans
"I don't like giving the Seahawks any motivation. And they're not that good actually."
Interestingly, he also took the 49ers' name, another team from the NFC West division. Nuca Clevelly covered it up by saying it was just a joke.
The 24-year-old has already set the stage for the rivalry next season. Let us know in the comments which team you'll be supporting.
