Ravens HC Drops Major Update on Lamar Jackson Amdist Recent Struggle with Injuries

Lamar Jackson suffered another heartbreak in the 28-24 loss against the New England Patriots. Head coach John Harbaugh provided a latest update on the former NFL MVP.

In the post-game press conference, Harbaugh revealed on Monday that Jackson was day-to-day after suffering a significant contusion in his back in the first half of Sunday Night’s loss against Drake Maye and company.

Jackson had 101 passing yards before exiting the pitch just before halftime because of an injury to his back. He was accurate, throwing 7 out of 10 passes successfully, and earned a 102.5 passer rating.

Thankfully, the Baltimore HC also confirmed that it wasn’t that serious. “It doesn't look like it's more than that. It doesn't look like it's more than that.”

QB Tyler Huntly replaced him and threw for 65 yards in 9 passes. This season has been plagued by injuries for Jackson. He has only played 12 games, missing three earlier in the season with a hamstring injury.

The 28-year-old star has scored 18 touchdowns for 2311 passing yards. The 28-year-old star has also recorded 2 rushing scores for 340 yards.

The Baltimore Ravens’ qualification hopes hang in the balance

John Harbaugh’s Ravens have yet to play the last two games. With Lamar Jackson questionable in the future, these games have become important for them to qualify for the playoffs.

In Week 16, the Pittsburgh Steelers took the lead in the AFC North division with a 29-24 win over the Lions. With Aaron Rodgers and company having a 9-6 record, only the Ravens can challenge them now for the top spot. Despitea 28-24 loss to the Patriots, they can still become the divisional champions.

Baltimore is currently on No. 2 spot with a 7-8 record; they now need to win out and get some help. Theymust win in Green Bay in Week 17 and get a Browns victory over Pittsburgh to set up a winner-take-all Week 18 game.
