Ranking the Top 10 College Football Teams as Georgia & Oklahoma Improve Position

College football this week shook up the leaderboard, as Stockton accounted for five touchdowns to outshine Manning, leading No. 5 Georgia to a 35-10 win over No. 10 Texas. Oklahoma also made waves with impressive performances, leaving fans buzzing. Here’s a look at the game-changing plays, breakout moments, and bold statements that have shaken the Top 10 rankings!

1.  Ohio State Dominates Big Ten, Staying Perfect at 10-0

The Buckeyes flexed their roster depth against UCLA. With Carnell Tate sidelined and Jeremiah Smith limited, Ohio State was still able to rack up 1,639 total yards and claimed the top spot with 57 points. QB J. Sayin went 23/31 and threw a touchdown. RB B. Jackson rushed 15 times for a score, helping Ohio State cruise to a 48-10 rout. With this win against UCLA, this will be their 12th straight week at the top of the rankings! 

2. Indiana’s Big Ten Surprise: Mendoza Leads Hoosiers Past Wisconsin

Can you believe Indiana is 11-0? They’re holding strong at No. 2 with 1,588 points! Fernando Mendoza was unreal, 22 of 24 for 299 yards and four touchdowns, completely blowing past Wisconsin 31-7. Mendoza has now overtaken Kurtis Rourke for the Indiana single-season record with 30 touchdowns.

3. Texas A&M’s Epic Comeback Keeps Them Undefeated

Texas A&M sits atop the SEC with a perfect 10-0 record and 1,520 points, definitely a team firing all the cylinders. QB Marcel Reed led an incredible comeback, throwing for a career-high 439 yards and three touchdowns, helping the Aggies erase a 27-point halftime deficit against South Carolina to win 31-30. With a strong offense as well as defense, Texas A&M looks unstoppable, as they chase both the SEC crown and a spot in the Playoff.

4. Georgia Bulldogs Charge to the Top

Finally, the Bulldogs made a statement on the national stage, improving their ranking to 9-1 overall and 7-1 in the SEC, becoming one of the Playoff contenders! Well, Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton led the team to a dominant 35-10 win from the start. Stockton accounted for all five Georgia touchdowns, four passing and one rushing, while completing 24 of 29 passes for 229 yards.

5. Ole Miss Rebels Make a Statement

Ole Miss jumps to No. 5 with 1,331 points! Kewan Lacy went off with 224 rushing yards and three touchdowns, including the go-ahead score on the first play of the fourth quarter, leading the Rebels past Florida 34-24. And the fans went wild, chanting “We want Lane!” as Lacy capped it with a postgame slam dunk.

6. Texas Tech Red Raiders Take Charge

Despite the injury concerns, Texas Tech improved from spot 8 to 6 with 1,299 points and standing 10-1. Well, leading the Big 12. Jacob Rodriguez struck the Heisman pose once again as his team rolled past UCF 48-9. Also, Reggie Virgil had a big day, scoring three touchdowns, while Behren Morton threw for 149 yards, including an 8-yard score to Virgil. 

6. Oregon Ducks Soar Past Minnesota

Oregon leaned on QB Dante Moore and a balanced offensive attack to dominate Minnesota 42-13, improving to 9-1 and sitting third in the Big Ten. Moore threw for two touchdowns, while Davison rushed for 57 yards on seven carries, keeping the Ducks in control throughout the game. Meanwhile, Kenyon Sadiq caught eight passes for 96 yards and another score. 

8. Oklahoma Bounces Back with Win Over Alabama

Oklahoma’s season has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows! The Sooners stumbled in tough matchups, dropping 23-6 to Texas and 34-26 to Ole Miss. But then came the moment, Oklahoma upset No. 4 Alabama 23-21. QB Simpson threw for 326 yards and a touchdown to Josh Cuevas. With this win, the Sooners look ready to solidify their CFP hopes as they head into key matchups against Missouri and LSU.

9. Notre Dame Rolls Past Pitt, Extends Winning Streak to Eight 

Notre Dame has rebounded impressively after a rocky start, climbing to No. 9 with 1,130 points. After two early losses, they’ve maintained an impressive winning streak, this time with a dominant 37-15 victory over No. 23 Pittsburgh. Jeremiyah Love ran for 147 yards and a touchdown, while Malachi Fields hauled in two scoring passes, helping Notre Dame take control early and never look back. Going forward, the team knows avoiding upsets by Syracuse or Stanford will be crucial to securing a playoff spot. 

10. Alabama Crimson Tide: Resilient but Falling Short

The Alabama Crimson Tide sits at No. 10 with 1,062 points, holding an 8–2 overall record and 6–1 in the SEC. In a hard-fought matchup against Oklahoma, Alabama fell just short, losing 23–21. QB John Mateer completed 15 of 23 passes for 138 yards. With this loss, Alabama has taken a serious tumble from 4th to 10th.
