During Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, running back Quinshon Judkins sustained an injury.

Judkin’s mother, Teva Judkins, in an X post, opened up and shared that she was terrified.

"As I watched him lie on the ground, my heart stopped… as football moms, we always know that there is a possibility of an injury but when it actually happens, you are not prepared for the flood of emotions you feel. This was @quinshon_ 1st major injury ever so I am very thankful that I was there and am here to support him as a mom!!! This too shall pass, and Q will be back out there busting into the end zone soon."

For Teva, it was a difficult moment. In the second quarter, Judkins caught a pass from Shedeur Sanders, with the Bills' linebacker Matt Milano tackling him immediately. His ankle was dislocated, with Judkins being carted off the field. The injury was so brutal that the CBS broadcast declined to show the replay.

Thankfully, the injury did not extend to his ligaments. As per Mary Kay Cabot, "Browns Quinshon Judkins’ injury (dislocated ankle, fractured fibula) is about a 4-5 month injury and he should be back practicing in the spring, league source tells me."

The Browns will miss Judkins, especially since he's the lead rusher with 827 yards and 7 touchdowns. However, head coach Kevin Stefanski's words reassured fans. "Like we talked about last night, knowing the kid, he’ll bounce back better than ever."

And Kevin Stefanski isn't alone in sending messages of support to Quinshon Judkins

After such a gruesome injury, his teammates in Cleveland were concerned. Fellow rookie Dylan Sampson spoke about Judkins after the game.

"It’s moments like that, where you just think about, ‘Man, we were just hyping each other up before the game.’ I thought about it the whole game. It didn’t leave my mind, so man, I talked to him after, I gave him a hug. I’m praying for him. That’s my boy. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy."

And rookie QB Shedeur Sanders joined him in sending Judkins a message after he was moved to injured reserve after the game.

"It really hurt that Quinshon went down. Me and Quinshon was in the room talking yesterday till like 11-11:30, just like just about life, just about everything. Just building that bond with the rookie class, having that be the new energy, and staying on track with everything."
