Patriots or Seahawks: Josh Allen Makes His Super Bowl Pick

Feb 4, 2026, 2:34 PM CUT

With the Super Bowl just days away, 2024 MVP Josh Allen has revealed his pick. The Buffalo Bills quarterback is backing a close friend to win it all.

In an interview with First Things First, the Bills QB was asked about his Super Bowl pick. He said:

"Listen, I got great respect for both teams. You know, I've been fortunate to know Coach Vrabel for a little bit. I have a lot of respect for him. Drake Maye, obviously, I've got a good relationship with him. But Sam Darnold, that's my boy. Like, we go back to draft, even before the draft."

Darnold and Allen first connected before the 2018 NFL Draft. They attended some of the same quarterback camps/summits. Allen and Darnold even stayed together during a camp organized by quarterback coach Jordan Palmer. In fact, they hung out at the Touchdown Club of Columbus.

"And like I said, we live pretty close together. We spend a lot of time in the offseason together playing golf and hanging out. So I'm rooting for my man there, 14, that wears, or he wears number 14 for the Seattle Seahawks," he concluded.

They have been seen together in Golf events, like the 2025 Masters Tournament. It is inevitable for him to support the Seattle Seahawks.

And if we look at one New England Patriots winner's prediction, Allen can be right about the Super Bowl.

Rob Gronkowski's Super Bowl Pick Can Favor Josh Allen

Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski recently appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show, and he predicted the New England Patriots to be the winner. But the problem is that he has a very bad track record.

On January 30, 2023, Gronkowski predicted the Philadelphia Eagles to win, but the Kansas City Chiefs ended up victorious. The following year, on January 29, 2024, he picked the San Francisco 49ers, yet the Chiefs won again.

Then, on January 29, 2025, he chose the Chiefs, but the Eagles claimed the victory. But this time, he has said that he is going to "break the trend of being wrong" and even predicted the score, "New England 28, Seattle 24." Do you think that will happen?
