A series of injuries, declining production, and roster changes culminated in Wyatt Teller's exit. The former Cleveland Browns guard has found himself a new team, the Houston Texans. Teller's exit from Cleveland came with a $246K profit on his Westlake home.

“Former Browns guard Wyatt Teller has sold his Westlake home, about three months after leaving Cleveland to sign with the Houston Texans in free agency,” Crain’s Cleveland Business reported on June 1. 

Teller and his wife, Carly, listed the 5,826 square foot home late in April, just after the guard signed a two-year, $23 million contract with the Texans. The three-time Pro Bowler’s home was sold on June 30, according to MLS Now records.

The house features six bedrooms and five bathrooms and was sold at the full asking price of $1.695 million. It was listed by Howard Hanna agent Megan Pettine. The Tellers had purchased this house in February of 2022 for $1.449 million. 

The house gained $246,000 before transaction costs, according to the report. The colonial-style house was built in 2021 on nearly a half-acre in Westlake’s Estates neighborhood. Its listing highlighted upgrades worth around $20,000.

It features Savant smart home system, “a home theater, a fully equipped gym, sauna, custom closet system and professionally landscaped backyard with automatic patio shades,” as reported.

The Tellers have officially relocated to Texas and their new residence remains private. The Browns parted ways with one of the most decorated guards in recent history. 

Wyatt Teller’s career with the Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns acquired Wyatt Teller in a trade with the Houston Texans. Between 2019 and 2025, he started 95 out of 101 regular season games. He earned three Pro Bowl selections from 2021 and 2023 consecutively. 

Teller received two Second Team All-Pro honor in 2020 and 2021. His immense success with former head coach Kevin Stefanski’s schemes was shortlived. Riddled with injuries, the right gaurd was not at his past best in the last season. 

“In 2025, Teller ranked 57th out of 65 qualifying guards in ESPN's pass block win rate metric and 40th out of 62 guards in run block win rate,” ESPN wrote in February 2026. 

In an instagram post, he and his wife, bid goodbye to Cleveland. 

“While we are excited and look forward to what the future holds, Cleveland will always have a special place in our hearts,” their joint post read.
