Ousted Browns Boss Kevin Stefanski in Demand as 5 Franchises Approach 43-Year-Old

The Cleveland Browns sacked Kevin Stefanski after a second consecutive poor season. However, that doesn’t mean he will be out of a job for long.

On the contrary, the two-time Coach of the Year is in heavy demand. Teams like the Atlanta Falcons, Titans, Ravens, Raiders, and Giants are looking to hire him as their next head coach.

In fact, the New York side has already interviewed him, and according to the New York Post, the meeting went well. As an inside source cited:

“It went very well. Meeting everybody and talking it through. I think it’s going to be a long process, I really do. New York is exciting, no question. How could the Giants’ job not be? Look at the history of the Giants and their organization; it’s incredible. I got to believe everyone is interested.”

On Friday, Stefanski gave a full interview for the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans and the Dolphins are also in line to speak with him over the weekend. All these franchises’ interest truly presents Stefanski as one of the most in-demand coaches, along with the former Super Bowl winner, John Harbaugh.

The 43-year-old joined the Browns in 2020 and took them to two playoffs. However, throughout his tenure, Cleveland suffered from a quarterback problem. With costly injuries to important players, they only won 8 games in the last two seasons and lost 26. Ultimately, he was sacked after the 2025 regular season ended.

Kevin Stefanski’s best option as a head coach

With many teams eyeing Kevin Stefanski’s services as the head coach, let’s determine what could be the best choice for him.

The Raiders’ job certainly looks appealing, as they have the number 1 draft pick. They can get a high-potential QB like Fernando Mendoza and pair him with the likes of Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers. However, the head coaching job at Las Vegas is never stable, as they have changed 12 head coaches in 25 years.

The Falcons are going through a complete overhaul, firing HC Raheem Morris and GM Terry Fontenot. With Matt Ryan taking on the new president job, it’s a perfect opportunity to start a new slate with Stefanski. Moreover, he will get an opportunity to coach a talented offense like Bijan Robinson, Michael Penix Jr., Drake London, and many more.

However, the head coaching job at the Giants makes the most sense. The two-time Coach of the Year is known to develop young passers. Stefanski would get a talented wide receiver in Malik Nabers and a defensive weapon like Brian Burns, who registered 16.5 sacks this season.

What do you think? Let us know your thoughts. Where should Stefanski go next?
