"Not Gonna Even Get Started”: Deion Sanders Maintains Silence Over Kevin Stefanski’s Latest Career Move
NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders had plenty to say about the NFL's coaching carousel on The Pre Game Show podcast, but refused to comment on one name.
Prime Time discussed the topic of multiple head coaches losing their jobs after the 2025 regular season. However, when it came to speaking on Kevin Stefanski becoming Atlanta’s new coach, he remained silent.
"I'm not gonna even get started with THAT situation. I still REPRESENT. I still LOVE y'all," Sanders said while holding up his No. 21 Falcons jersey.
Sanders started his career with the Falcons in 1989. During his five-year tenure at Atlanta, he played in 70 games. However, he won two Super Bowl rings with the 49ers (1994) and the Cowboys (1996). Deion’s reason to remain silent was evident: his son Shedeur’s tenure in the Browns.

Many fans blame Stefanski for not unlocking Sanders’ full potential at Cleveland. Shedeur got a chance to play in Week 11 after fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel got injured. In 7 games, the 23-year-old scored 7 touchdowns for 1400 passing yards.
Deion pulled out Shedeur’s jersey and said that he still represented the Browns because of his son. The Falcons and the Browns will play a game next season.
Deion Sanders to Be the Next Browns’ Coach?
Many fans had a thought in mind whether they could see Deion and Shedeur working together in the Cleveland Browns.
Speaking on 92.3 The Fan, Nice Pedone said he thinks there might be a genuine possibility of that happening.
"I'm surprised not more people are talking about... Coach Prime Deion Sanders. Who's to say there were no secret meetings? I'm not suggesting that he's going to be, but there's precedent for him to entertain NFL gigs," said Pedone.
If Deion does take the head coaching job, all the eyes will be on Shedeur. While many fans support the idea, others... well, not so much.
Currently, the two-time Super Bowl winner wants to focus on developing the players by coaching the Colorado Buffaloes. The possibility of coaching at Cleveland will also become a conflict of interest as his son is a Brown's QB. But do you wish to see him in Cleveland? Let us know in the comments!
