Minnesota Vikings Star Finds Himself in Legal Trouble in Tampa Bay

Minnesota Vikings WR found himself in legal troubles for the third time in the past 3 years. This has led to a year and half old controvery to take headlines again.

As per Hillsborough County (Florida) Sheriff's Office records, Vikings receiver Jordan Addison was arrested Monday morning in Tampa, Florida, on trespassing charges. The Seminole Police Department arrested him at 3:46 a.m. at 5223 Orient Road, the address of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.

They booked him at 7:33 a.m with charges of misdemeanor trespass in an occupied structure or conveyance. As noted by the police, he was also released from jail on a $500 bond at 2:40 p.m. Was the team aware of this? Yes.

"I don't want to speculate on that in any way, shape, or form. I do think we have to get as many facts and find out exactly what happened. Speculating at this point would be incredibly premature for me," HC Kevin O'Connell said.

Jordan Addison was also arrested 18 months ago in LA on suspicion of driving under the influence. He later settled the citation by entering a no-contest plea to a reduced charge of wet reckless driving. Though he was still punished monetarily.

Addison had to pay a fine and complete two online courses, with the understanding that his probation would be cut from 12 months to six. The NFL also suspended him for the first three games of the 2025 season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

Before this, the Minnesota State Patrol handcuffed the WR in July 2023 for speeding and reckless driving.

This arrest might have hurt the future of Jordan Addison

As far as the most recent arrest is concerned, it came at a very crucial time for the Vikings star. Because the team has until May 1 to exercise Addison's fifth-year option on his rookie deal.

He has recorded 175 receptions for 2,396 yards and 22 TD in his three years with the team. Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has extended his support to Jordan Addison but refused to talk about his future with the club.

"Obviously, that's something we have to consider when you're talking about long-term ramifications of a contract extension or different things like that," he said on Tuesday.
