Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season has come to an end, And with Thanksgiving around, there were a lot of top moments this week. Take the Lions game for an example, not many thought Eminem was going to perform, and has Slim Shady ever been predictable? Joe Burrow did something cheeky, Eagles HC made sure Chicago got free hotdogs. Let’s take a look at a few more- 

Ben Johnson went shirtless

The Chicago Bears defeated the Eagles with a scoreline of 24-15 and registered their fifth straight victory and securing first place in the NFC North. Bears head coach Ben Johnson had a unique way of celebrating the win. Johnson stripped off his shirt during the post‑game locker‑room celebration and led chants with his players. "[HC Ben Johnson] is a man of the people," Caleb Williams said. 

The Wieners Circle promised free hot dogs if Ben Johnson went “topless” in a locker room speech. Johnson knew about it since Oct. 24, and after the Bears won five games, he chose their victory over the defending Super Bowl champions as the moment to go shirtless. “... I think any time you get to feed a city, you want to do it. A man of the people,” Johnson said on Monday. 

C.J. Gardner-Johnson takes a dig at his former team 

Gardner-Johnson, being one of the NFL’s biggest trash talkers, is no big news, and it was the chance to be that guy with the team he played two years for and won Super Bowl LIX; he did not miss it. After beating the Eagles 24-15, he was on his way to the locker room when he said, “What’d I say? They’re gonna fold.” 

The Bears dominated that game; their run game recorded 281 rushing yards. The defense effectively shut down the Eagles’ offense all day. Gardner‑Johnson himself played a significant role with five tackles and a hit on the QB. He also made a clutch defensive stop in the second half to force a punt and derail a Philly drive.

The Dallas Cowboys are alive and kicking 

For a moment, many might have thought that the Cowboys' season was done for when the defense faltered. Although it has not been great yet, having won the last three games tells you that they are doing something right. Dak Prescott has left his inconsistencies behind. The defense is doing better, and the Cowboys’ playoff hopes are very alive and kicking. In their last two games, they have beaten both the last two Super Bowl winners: the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. 

In the 31-28 win over the Chiefs, Prescott threw for 320 yards and 2 TDs, while CeeDee Lamb added 112 receiving yards and a touchdown. Malik Davis contributed a key 43‑yard rushing TD, and the defense pressured Patrick Mahomes enough to force critical mistakes. "The heartbeat of this football team is different,”  Dallas Cowboys HC Brian Schottenheimer said after the game. 

Aaron Rodgers calls for Boos 

The 7-26 loss to the Bills tough day for Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers’ offense. He managed just 10 completions on 21 attempts for 117 yards while the defense had a rough time too, allowing 249 rushing yards and letting Buffalo control the game clock for a whopping 42 minutes. Overall, it was a game where the Steelers couldn’t get much going on either side of the ball.

“For a ticket, so they have the right, good, bad, or indifferent to say what they want. So I totally understand the frustration. I've been voted on offense, even in Green Bay, over the years. So that was a boo-worthy performance, and I understand the frustration,” Rodgers said after the game. 

Joe Burrow was milking the clock 

With the Bengals leading 29‑14 on the road against the Ravens, Joe Burrow was clearly focused on running out the clock. NBC’s field microphones even caught him telling his offense there was no need to rush. 

“We've got a lot of time here. We've got a lot of time here. We've got a lot of time here. We're about at ten. We've got a lot of time still, Ted. Eight, seven, six…” he said.
