NFL Playoffs Bills vs. Jaguars Halftime Report: Josh Allen Puts Body on the Line as Game Hangs in Balance

Josh Allen is giving it his all in the Buffalo Bills vs. Jacksonville Jaguars playoff game. Although he helped the Bills take the lead in the first half, Allen put his body on the line for it.
The Bills' QB needed medical help quite a few times in the game so far, as the team led 10-7 before the first half ended. And not to mention, he is playing with an existing injury.
CBS Journalist, Tracy Wolfson, reported, "Josh Allen still dealing with the right foot injury. Told me he will have to manage it the rest of the postseason but he assured me adrenaline and medicine will take over, and you will see Playoff Josh. #BillsMafia"
Allen picked up the right foot injury against the Browns when he was sacked and hurt his foot late in the second quarter. And he is not backing down against the Jags as well.
Allen went into the medical tent after Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen landed on his head, and his helmet came off in the first quarter. However, CBS reported that an independent neurologist cleared him for a possible concussion. Soon after this, the Jags picked up the lead (7-3), and Allen once again showed up.
Being the best rushing QB of the season, the 29-year-old rushed it in from 2 yards out with 5:37 remaining in the 2nd quarter and took the lead (10-7). He was limping after the play. As of the latest reports, he has been cleared.
Besides these two hits, he also took a hit on the arm from his teammate's helmet. Thankfully, Allen's fearless plays got them the lead going into halftime. Bills head coach Sean McDermott said, "Yeah, I think he is having a heck of a day. He is important to all of us, and I hope he continues to have a great game."
So far in the game, Allen has completed 14 of his 17 passes for 129 yards. He has also rushed for 12 yards for 1 TD. That being said, he is not the only one with injury concerns in this game.
Besides Josh Allen, a Jaguars Wide Receiver also faces injury concerns
Jaguars WR Parker Washington left the game late in the first quarter after a hard fall. The medics then evaluated him for a possible concussion. Fortunately, nothing bad has happened as he passed the concussion test.

Washington had 58 catches for 847 yards and scored 7 touchdowns in 16 games this season. He is the intended WR for Trevor Lawrence; they wouldn't want to lose him.
What else happened, Bills vs Jaguars up to halftime
Buffalo opened the scoring when Matt Prater kicked a 50-yard field goal after the offense stalled in Jaguars territory (Q1, 8:40 remaining).
The Jags then took the lead to 7-3 when Trevor Lawrence found Brian Thomas Jr. on a 3-yard touchdown pass in the front of the end zone (Q2, 11:10 remaining). But then Allen brought the lead back to the Bills.
There was also a controversial call in this game. On Jacksonville’s fourth-and-2, Trevor Lawrence appeared to get the first down on a designed run, and the officials initially ruled it a first down on the field.
The Bills challenged the spot, and the call paid off. Upon review, the referee determined Lawrence’s knee hit the ground just before the ball reached the line to gain. He overturned the call, and it became a turnover on downs.
