NFL Insider Drops Update On Shedeur Sanders' Future as Browns Still Uncertain Over QB Position
Shedeur Sanders' second start turned sour. Despite his touchdown, the Browns lost to the 49ers. What does this mean for the Sanders? Well, one Cleveland reporter has an answer.
According to NFL Insider Mary Kay Cabot, the team “sees something” in Sanders, and how he performs over the final part of the season may shape their outlook on his long-term role with the team. After all, the record is at 1-1 in the games that he has started.
“I think it’s going to be Shedeur the rest of the way because I think they do see something in him, and they want to know if they need to draft a quarterback in April,” Cabot said. But the door is also not closed on Dillon Gabriel.
Cabot also notes she wouldn’t be shocked if the team felt they needed another game or two of evaluation on Dillon Gabriel. He does have 937 yards and 7 touchdowns in 9 games. Compared to Shedeur's 2 touchdowns so far, it might seem like a big jump. However, Sanders' 405 yards in just 3 games could make him a reliable option. Fortunately for Shedeur Sanders, he has the coach backing him.
“There are things that he wants back that we’re coaching up right now that he can improve upon. But, bottom line, we have to continue to put our players in a position to succeed... He wants to continue to get better and better, and that’s the right attitude to have. That’s why we’ll continue to work with him,” Stefanski explained.

Shedeur Sanders Has a Big Chance in Week 14 and 15
Kicking things off in Week 14 will be arguably the worst team this season, the Tennessee Titans. With just a single win and giving up 218 passing yards on average, Sanders can run away with this game.
Following them will be the Bears. Although they're looking like a top seed team, they're giving up 225 passing yards every single game. If Myles Garrett can lead a strong Cleveland defense, Sanders can have every throw.
