NFL Halftime Show: Eminem, Post Malone Set for Thanksgiving as Major Stars Locked for Week 13

When Kendrick Lamar walked out to perform at Super Bowl 2025, the entire world watched. That's what makes the these NFL moments so iconic. Whether its the Super Bowl or Thanksgiving, you know you're going to be entertained. And this year, NFL hasn't let us down, with a massive lineup announced.

The 2025 NFL Thanksgiving Day games will feature a triple-header. The Detroit Lions will host the Green Bay Packers, the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Dallas Cowboys, and the Cincinnati Bengals will face the Baltimore Ravens. What's going to make it even better are artists supporting some of these teams will be at the game.

The Lions will be hosting their 86th annual Thanksgiving Day Classic, and Eminem will be an executive producer of the halftime show. As per the team's official website, “The Detroit Lions announced today a multi-year partnership with global rap icon Marshall Mathers, professionally known as Eminem, and his long-time manager and president of Shady Records, Paul Rosenberg on the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Halftime Show powered by Verizon.”

Eminem's love for the Lions is no secret, given that he is a Detroit native. He attended multiple games in the past. In fact, his house on Desden Street in Detroit became the album cover of the The Marshall Mathers LP. In fact, ahead of the 2024 NFL Wild Card game, Eminem made a cheeky request for Matthew Stafford. “I was there for you when you won it. I was there for you I rapped for you... Can you just let us have this one? Just this one.” He was referring to the Super Bowl LVI, the game Stafford won with the Rams, while EM, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre performed at the halftime show.

And while Eminem won't be performing, there's something in store for fans. 12-time Grammy Award-winning guitarist, Detroit native, Jack White will be taking the stage. Also  gospel musician CeCe Winans will be taking to the stage for the national anthem.

As for the Cowboys, they have their own star taking over the halftime show. Post Malone, through a Dallas Cowboys video, announced, "Let's make it a party Cowboys nation." For Post Malone, it will be one of the biggest opportunities of his life. That's because this marks the 29th year of The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign. "I'm from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years," Malone said. "It's a real honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people."
