Walder expects Shedeur Sanders to find the end zone despite entering the game as Cleveland’s backup. The ESPN analyst also believes Sanders could get his opportunity after the Browns make a mid-game change.

Walder made the prediction in ESPN’s Week 2 picks and predictions article. He wrote:

“Browns backup QB Shedeur Sanders will throw a touchdown pass in this game. The Browns will finally come to their senses before the end of this game and will bench Watson.”

Walder also predicted Sanders would score after Cleveland fell too far behind. The forecast covers a Sanders touchdown and a potential quarterback switch for Cleveland.

For now, Cleveland will start Deshaun Watson against Tampa Bay. Browns head coach Todd Monken said he anticipated Watson would retain the job after reviewing the Browns’ Week 1 performance.

That gives Sanders another chance on Sunday.
