"New Vibe, New Energy": Shedeur Sanders Sets Tone in Cleveland

Sanders is at the Browns' three-day voluntary minicamp. From the available clips of the minicamp, He was actively involved in team drills and was working on improving his skills. On Tuesday, after the Browns' voluntary offseason workout, Sanders spoke to the reporters.
Sanders said, “The only thing we missing is y’all. We need y’all to have a new vibe, a new energy. I know you all want us to win, so we need some winning energy here."
Sanders was referring here to the people, for positive energy, as he went on to say that he doesn't take anything negatively. He was also grateful for the situation.
“I’m thankful that everything happened how it happened,” Sanders mentioned being grateful several times. "I am blessed. I was in a position where I could handle everything that came my way. So now I feel bulletproof.”
This season, with everything going on about the new Head Coach Todd Monken, who is often credited with Lamar Jackson's rise, joining the Browns and in need of a QB to work with, he got settled with Sanders.
For coach Monken, Sanders just had appreciation because he believes that with Monken, he can play up to his potential.

Sanders stated, "I think coach just spoke life into me. And then, like when you do that, you just get the best result for me."
Upon being asked about working with former Ravens Offensive coordinator, Monken, Sanders praised all. "Yeah, Coach Monken is great. And all the other coaches on the staff is extremely great," Sanders said.
He also emphasized how they make you reach the limit daily in an appreciative way. He said, "You gotta understand they embrace you just as a person and then they push you each and every day, in the meeting room and on the field, in the weight room. Like, it’s a new vibe. It’s a new energy."
Last season, he played seven games, as he began as a starter by Week 11, due to the mid-season trade of Joe Flacco and the injury of Dillion Gabriel. He put up a 3-4 record, threw 1,400 yards, and was sacked 23 times.
These weren’t the numbers he wanted to make in his first year. But the tide changed with the arrival of Todd Monken, and Sanders has spoken positively about the direction under Monken.
