Feb 8, 2026, 11:31 AM CUT

Two-time Olympic gold medalist and Myles Garrett's girlfriend, Chloe Kim, couldn't help but highlight just how crucial America has been in helping her realize her Olympic dream.

As Kim gears up to compete in her third Winter Olympic Games, she took to Instagram and expressed how proud she was to represent the United States, winning hearts.

“My parents left South Korea in search of a better future for their family,” Chloe Kim wrote.

“They left behind everything they knew so that my sisters and I could have the chance to one day live the American dream. Their sacrifice is one I will never take for granted," she added.

Kim felt proud while talking about her heritage and her journey. Not only that, the talented snowboarder said she was representing all of those who, like her, took a “leap of faith.”

Although the Olympia turned off the comments, her February 5 post has already garnered over 111,000 likes. Myles Garrett, her boyfriend and Cleveland Browns star, has also been supportive.

"We're both just so supportive of one another," said Garrett to PEOPLE's Janine Rubenstein at Media Row in San Francisco. "She's always texting, she's always calling to see how I'm doing during the year and I'm doing the same right now, checking on her, seeing how she's feeling, emotionally and physically," he added.

How Myles Garrett and Chloe Kim Became Official

Garrett and Kim were first seen together in May 2025, but at a sports event. On the contrary, they attended the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan.

What started as just speculation soon became official when Chloe Kim was seen cheering for Garrett during a Browns vs. Raiders game in November 2025.

While in San Francisco, Garrett revealed they were very competitive in impressing each other. "I'm more romantic than her," he said. And the defensive end has been there for Kim in her most difficult time in 2025.

He provided constant support to her, even when Kim suffered a shoulder injury just a few months before the Winter Games.

That being said, the qualifiers for the women’s snowboard halfpipe event will start on Feb 11 in Italy. Kim won gold medals in the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games and the 2022 Beijing Games. It's safe to say that she's once again gunning for gold.
