Defensive end Myles Garrett's Los Angeles Rams journey is officially underway. But as the Rams open training camp, the former Cleveland Browns star appears to be doing more than just traveling to California to participate in the training camp.

The former Browns defensive cornerstone has listed his Ohio manor for $2.1 million, almost eight years after buying the property.

Interestingly, just two years ago, Garrett stated that he would never sell his Ohio abode, which he bought for $1.2 million following his No. 1 overall selection in 2018.

“I’m not gonna sell my house and pack up and leave,” Garrett said back in 2023, per SI. “I definitely plan to be here for a long time. I’ll start a family here. I’m not just gonna rip and run once things are over and I hang up the cleats.”

According to a report published by Dawgs By Nature on July 27, the listing of his Cleveland home went live hours after he purchased a $23 million Hidden Hills mansion.

Listed by Rebecca Donatelli and Natalie Antonelli of The Elli Group at Elite Sotheby's International Realty, the home is already pending sale. However, it's unclear whether Garrett has accepted the offer.

Located in Wadsworth's Hidden Lakes community, Garrett's estate served as a private retreat.

Spanning roughly 4,300 square feet, the Ohio manor features five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a private theater, a fitness room, and a detached four-car garage.

Surrounded by lush landscaping, the property also has a private fire pit, an upper deck with built-in seating, a built-in grill area, and plenty of room for outdoor dining and gatherings.

Buying a home in Los Angeles makes sense, considering Garrett will be there for the next five years under his contract. But the elite DE seems to be making noise before his first season with the Rams even begins.

Rams DE Myles Garrett is already making noise

On Sunday, the Rams unleashed their full defensive unit at training camp, and Myles Garrett made the most noise. One practice session was enough to convince the Rams that the former Cleveland Browns star possesses unmatched power.

“We’ve been looking forward to this day for a long time, and it definitely lived up to it,” defensive coordinator Chris Shula said, per the Associated Press on July 27.

Less than two months after arriving in Los Angeles, Garrett is already turning heads. Even in a non-contact training camp session, the Rams star disrupted the play, leaving his teammates flabbergasted.

“When he’s out there, you can just feel his aura,” Trent McDuffie said. “(It’s just) this aura that this guy has. I mean, he’s gigantic. He’s a monster. But I’m just excited to get him out here and get him loose and get him going, because I know he has a little chip on his shoulder, and I know he’s excited about being here, so I think that just fires everybody else up.”

Last year, Garrett won the Defensive Player of the Year award, but the Browns never capitalized on his efforts.

Now that he's on a team with a stronger offense, will he finally be able to win a Super Bowl ring?
