Myles Garrett Shuts Down Micah Parsons After Sly Dig at All-Time NFL Sack Record

Myles Garrett broke the single-season sack record with 23 in 2025, but he already has someone gunning for the record. In a recent conversation, Micah Parsons made a cheeky challenge to the Browns star.

"I'm not going to lie. Like, you know what time it is. That record is only going to stand but for so long," he said in the Bleacher Report podcast.

Garrett was quick to respond to this by looking at his wrist watch and saying, "It is still currently my time." And is he lying? Not only did he make the sack record this year, but he also won his second Defensive Player of the Year award.

He also earned AP First Team All-Pro for the 2025 season, marking his fifth First-Team All-Pro selection in his career. Other than that, Myles Garrett led the NFL with 33 tackles for loss in 2025, the second-highest total since 2000 by a single player.

And when Parsons promised to take away the record, Garrett replied, "It's going to take me another one...you take your time. I'm going to go ahead and break it again."

What Does Myles Garrett Want in the Future?

In the podcast, Micah Parsons asked Garrett what's next for him after he set the sack record and his second Defensive Player of the Year award?

The Browns' legend replied with two of the biggest honors an NFL athlete can get. "Super Bowl. Super MVP," he said. Garrett is considered a Super Bowl-caliber talent.

He signed a four-year contract extension with the Browns in March 2025 that keeps him with the team through the 2030 season. The extension includes a no-trade clause as well. However, his Super Bowl ambitions depend on the Browns' ability to build a championship team.
