Myles Garrett Gets Official Update on Flag Football Tournament

Myles Garrett is keeping himself busy this offseason with flag football. And Fanatics Flag Football has dropped an update on the event.

On Tuesday, Fanatics, the massive collectibles and betting company, announced that its state-by-state football matchup has been moved to BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

It would be held on its “original date”, March 21, and has even expanded to Team USA Football, which would compete against two teams captained by football legends.

“The newly structured, first of its kind competition includes three 12-player teams: two comprised of an incredible mix of current and former NFL stars and elite global athletes, and the third represented by USA Football’s reigning IFAF Flag Football World Champion U.S. Men’s National Team,” the company’s official press release stated.

Garrett, 30, is a part of a lineup including Saquon Barkley, Odell Beckham Jr., and others. The players will be drafted into two teams on March 18, with several major NFL names involved.

“On Wednesday, March 18, Brady/Hurts and Daniels/Burrow will draft their 12-person teams from a pool of 24 current and former NFL stars and athletes – including previously announced players Saquon Barkley, Myles Garrett, Odell Beckham Jr., Rob Gronkowski and Logan Paul,” the release added.

The first team, Founders FFC, is headed by NFL legend, six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, and Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles. And the other, Wildcats FFC,  will be captained by Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow. This matchup is marking Brady’s return to the field after his 2023 retirement.

Myles Garrett Returns to Off-Season Activities After a While

Garrett’s FFC game falls after his career-best NFL season. In 2025, Garrett set the NFL record for most sacks by a player in a season by recording 23.5 sacks. He surpassed Michael Strahan, Brady’s friend and former Patriots teammate.

The edge rusher won his second Defensive Player of the Year award for his performance and witnessed his #95 jersey inducted into the Hall of Fame. This flag football game has fans buzzing with excitement over watching Garrett play before the 2026 season commences.

Interestingly, back in 2023, Garrett injured himself at the Pro Bowl’s “Gridiron Gauntlet" and had explained he was out of the festivities. But it looks like he's back. And it could be for the flag football coming to the Olympics in Los Angeles.

Fans can tune into FOX Sports, FOX One, and Tubi from 4 p.m. to - 8:30 pm ET to watch the game live.
