Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward Earn Major Milestone While Browns Continue to Tank
The Browns are now 3-12, after the Bills' defeat in Week 16. Yet, despite the decline, Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward have brought some positive news.
The Browns' defensive end is nearing history with every game, while the center back has the fans longing for his comeback since the injury. And now, their performance
Both Garrett and Ward have been selected as starters for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games.
Mayle Garrett has had 41 solo tackles, 17 assists, and 22.0 sacks in 15 games this season. He is just half a sack away from equalling the record for most sacks in a season(22.5) held by Michael Strahan in 2001 and T.J. Watt in 2021. Ward is not shy of numbers either.
This is the DE's seventh Pro Bowl selection, the most by a Browns defensive player. He is tied for the fourth-most in team history.
Meanwhile, Ward had 29 solo tackles, 9 assists, and 1 interception in 13 games this season. He suffered a calf injury in the fourth quarter of Week 14 and has been out since.
Ward also set a benchmark with his fifth career Pro Bowl selection, passing Frank Minnifield (four) for the most Pro Bowl selections by a Browns corner.
After the selection, Head Coach Kevin Stefanski congratulated both of them. "All right, first thing, you know, happy for Miles and Denzel to be named Pro Bowlers. Obviously well-deserved for both those guys. They're playing really good ball for us," he said in the latest press conference.
They are not the only ones, though.
Browns Players who have joined Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward for the 2026 Pro Bowl
While Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward have been voted as the starters, S Grant Delpit (special teamer), TE Harold Fannin Jr., RB Quinshon Judkins, and LB Carson Schwesinger were selected as alternates for the 2026 Pro Bowl.
Delpit has had 36 solo tackles, 35 assists, 1.0 sack, 2 fumble recoveries, and 1 interception in 15 games. Schwesinger recorded 64 solo tackles, 83 assists, 2.5 sacks, and 2 interceptions in the same.
On offense, Fannin Jr. has taken 70 catches for 701 yards and has scored 6 touchdowns in 15 games. He is now the Browns' all-time leader in receptions among rookies. Judkins has had 230 carries for 827 yards and has scored 7 touchdowns in 14 games.
Stefanski also congratulated them too, saying, "Excited for the guys who are alternates, including, you know, three rookies, which is great for those young players."
