Most Corrupt Organisation: HOF Rips Into NFL over Bad Bunny Half Time Show

The controversy regarding Bad Bunny's upcoming performance at the Super Bowl halftime show refuses to die down. Now, Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson has weighed in, and he didn't spare the NFL either.

The former Los Angeles Rams legend spoke with TMZ at the San Francisco airport and clarified whether he changed his opinion about the Puerto Rican singer.

“Why couldn’t we get somebody right here from home? How about someone from right here in San Francisco and get these artists right here in the area to play at the Super Bowl?” Dickerson asked.

The NFL legend was also concerned about whether the Grammy-winning artist would sing in Spanish. “Puerto Rico is not America,” Eric continued. “It’s a territory. You don’t have the right to vote... I don’t have anything against Puerto Rico... I don’t see why they chose that. The NFL does stuff that baffles your mind," he added, and then he spoke about the league itself.

"They’ll do anything for money. And you know, I thank God I had a chance to play in the National Football League, but as an entity, the NFL is one of the most corrupt organizations," said the former NFL player.

However, it's noteworthy that people born in Puerto Rico are U.S. citizens and have U.S. passports. Meanwhile, the 65 isn't the only one objecting to Bad Bunny's selection.

Active NFL Players are divided

In a Poll conducted by The Athletic of 58 NFL players, 58.6% voted in favor of the Puerto Rican performing at Super Bowl LX, while 41.4% of players voted against it.

While that is a slim margin, some players even argued that they were unfamiliar with the artist and his music. “I don’t even know who Bad Bunny is," one anonymous NFC offensive player told The Athletic.

A video has been making the rounds on social media where several NFL players fail to recognize Bad Bunny or know any of his songs.

Las Vegas Raiders CB Marcus Peters said, "I don’t know any Bad Bunny songs." Los Angeles Rams RB Kyren Williams also had a similar answer.

At this rate, it looks like the debate may rage on even after the Super Bowl 60 halftime show concludes.
