Mike Vrabel Makes Concerning Drake Maye Admission Ahead of Super Bowl

In a huge career moment, 21-year-old Drake Maye has led the New England Patriots to their 12th Super Bowl drive, but Patriots' coach Mike Vrabel revealed they have a big problem on their hands.
During his appearance on The Greg Hill Show on Tuesday, Vrabel spoke about athletes’ health conditions and revealed that even their quarterback wasn't healthy, referring to Mayes's shoulder injury.
"There’s not a player on our team that’s 100% healthy. I would imagine we’ll go through the injury report, and whenever we have to turn that in, we’ll turn it in… This’ll be our 21st game," said Mike Vrabel.
Former NFL doctor David J. Cho assessed that Maye injured his right shoulder while making a throw against the Broncos on Monday.
"There is no question in my mind that Drake Maye injured his right throwing shoulder against the Denver Broncos," Chao said. "Of course, how bad is the injury remains to be seen," he added on his X post.
What does the Patriots’ AFC Championship Injury Report look like?
The Patriots haven’t released a new injury report so far. But we do know the status of some players. During the conference championship, linebacker Harold Landry III was out due to a knee injury.
LB Marte Mapu was questionable alongside wide receiver Mack Hollins. Defensive lineman Joshua Farmer was out because of a hamstring injury, and Terrell Jennings, their running back, was ruled out following the concussion protocol. However, Mike Vrabel didn't elaborate on any other injury-related details.
“This is a sport where there’s gonna be things that come up. We’ll talk about whatever status each player has for the game once we’re required to,” said the head coach.
“We understand that we were able to function offensively, throw the football, run the football, so that’s kinda where everybody’s at,” he added.
At this point, the Patriots cannot afford to lose players to any injuries. After a seven-year drought, the franchise has finally made some progress with Vrabel.
So do you think Drake Maye and the Patritos will stun everyone with their performance on February 9? Tell us your thoughts.
