Major Update Over Christmas Halftime Show as Netflix Ropes in Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson
Netflix has revealed the musical artists who will headline the Netflix NFL Christmas Gameday live on 25 December.
Kelly Clark will perform before the match, kickstarting the event, while Snoop Dogg is set to perform the halftime show.
Snoop Dogg is hosting “Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party” during the Lions vs Vikings halftime show live. In the Netflix trailer for his show, he invited the audience and even promised half-time snacks, saying, “We’re about to light up this Christmas in a real way. Come on in.”
“NFL, Netflix, and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day? We’re servin’ up music, love, and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy,” Snoop stated. “That’s the kind of holiday magic Santa can’t fit in a bag," he said.
Netflix confirmed country singer Lianey Wilson and the HUNTR/X, the group behind Netflix's hit KPop Demon Hunters, will join Snoop Dogg. Netflix shared that viewers can expect more special guests shared no details.
Maintaining the secrecy, Snoop said, "You’ll have to wait until Christmas to see who else joins ."
Before the kickoff, Kelly Clarkson is set to perform her single "Underneath the Tree" from her Christmas album "Wrapped in Red." Her performance will be followed by the Cowboys vs the Commanders matchup. Clarkson said that two games on Christmas is “a present we can all enjoy.”

Netflix will stream two NFC matchups live, pregame segments, and halftime shows on Thursday. The pregame coverage starts at 11 a.m. before the Commanders vs Cowboys matchup at 1:00 p.m. ET at Northwest Stadium, Maryland. It will be followed by Lions vs Vikings at 4:30 p.m. ET held at U.S. Bank Stadium, Minnesota.
‘Netflix NFL Christmas Gameday’ was first launched in 2024 and headlined by Beyoncé. She performed in the Ravens vs Texans halftime show. She was joined by Post Malone, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, and Tiera Kennedy.
To continue the holiday tradition started last year, teams playing on Christmas Day will wear holiday-themed jerseys.
