They also revealed that there was a fourth suspect involved, and he was on the run with a warrant for his arrest. The 23-year-old spoke about this incident during a media conference and was just happy that his jewelry was safe.
"I know this is a trending topic that my house got broken into… but like I’m in a mental space that nothing could phase me, and none of my jewelry got took anyway (laughs)," said Sanders.
Multiple NFL stars suffered the same problem as Shedeur Sanders
Just three weeks after Shedeur Sanders’ house got broken into, Tennessee’s defensive tackle, Jeffery Simmons, also suffered the same fate.
After the Titans lost 37-24 to the 49ers in their Week 15 matchup, Simmons reached home to find out it had been broken into. He took to Instagram and vented out his frustration.
“God is the Greatest and I’m his son!! Whoever you are, just know he sit high and look low,” Simmons posted. “You’ll get what you deserve f***ing cowards!”
He believed that the burglary was planned, and only his master bedroom was broken into. The 28-year-old star expressed gratitude and relief, stating that no one was home during the incident.
Kansas City Chiefs legends, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, were also burglarized last year. Moreover, the Cincinnati Bengals’ QB, Joe Burrow’s house robbed in December of 2024.
