Four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers has repeatedly hinted that 2026 could be his final season. Now, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback's latest social media post may have just confirmed the fact for NFL fans.

NFL insider Ari Meirov recently on his X handle shared snapshots from Rodgers' latest Instagram post, featuring several of his Steelers teammates, with the caption seemingly hinting that this is his retirement tour.

“Last Rodeo,” the post was captioned.

Rodgers' Instagram carousel began with a photo of Rodgers alongside several of his Steelers teammates, including Pat Freiermuth and Mason Rudolph.

While the location remains unknown, it is believed the gathering may have taken place in California, where he has hosted team bonding trips in the past.

Having played 21 consecutive seasons, Rodgers is one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in NFL history. A four-time MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Super Bowl MVP, he has done it all.

Rodgers was flirting with the idea of retiring after the 2025 season, and it took him four months to decide whether to return for the 2026 season. However, the Steelers' decision to bring in Mike McCarthy as head coach changed his mind.

“I thought that was probably it for me in Pittsburgh,” Rodgers told reporters in May, per NBC News. “But when the decision was made to hire Mike, I started opening my mind back up to coming back.”

Last season, he helped the Steelers win the AFC North title, going 10-6 as a starter while throwing for 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns, and just seven interceptions. Now, in his 22nd season, he will be eyeing another Super Bowl title under his former coach.

While Rodgers has already hinted that this will likely his final season in the NFL, the post and its caption still spread like wildfire, with fans holding diverging speculation.

When NFL insider Ari Meirov shared Rodgers' post on X on July 12, social media was left divided, with many believing 2026 would be the perfect farewell season to watch him play.

“Going to be a fun year,” one fan stated.

One fan became emotional, expressing that it would be difficult to say goodbye to him after two decades.

“I’m not ready for his final season. Gonna be sad. He is going to have his last first regular season game,” said another fan.

While another completely disregarded his retirement gimmick, stating that he did the exact same thing last year as well.

“He did the same s**t last year lol. Not saying it won’t be his last year, but every year it’s like he wants people to beg him to stay lol,” one fan debated.

Another fan doubled down on the statement, saying even he doesn't believe that this will be Rodgers' last season.

“Not sure if this ride's really the last one lol,” A fan doubled down.

Lastly, shifting the debate to the Steelers, one fan believed this would be the Steelers' year to win the Super Bowl.
