Key Update on Kevin Stefanski's Future as Insider Provides Crucial Info
There were no doubts about Kevin Stefanksi’s future job prospects. After Monday’s announcement that the former Browns head coach has left the franchise for the better, NFL insider Ian Rapaport shared that Stefanski is set for an interview with the Tennessee Titans this Saturday.
Apart from the Titans, he has two other teams lined up, the New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons. Stefanski parted ways with the Browns after six years because of the poor results in the past two years.
The two-time AP Coach of the Year awardee pulled through with “ a young team and an imperfect roster,” but had to leave because of the unsatisfactory results. The Browns ended the 2024 season with a 4-12 record and won 5 games out of 12 in the 2025 season.
While he will sit down with the Titans’ management later this week, the Giants have already secured a window for their head coach vacancy on Wednesday.
The Titans prospect looks especially appealing for Stefanski, given his prior involvement with the team.
Why Kevin Stefanski would be a good fit with the Titans
Stefasnki had his eyes on a particular quarterback. Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot stated that in the 2025 draft, “the Browns would’ve drafted Cam Ward at the number two overall pick if he somehow fell there.”
A report by Sports Illustrated stated that Stefanski was “apparently involved heavily in extensive pre-draft work on Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward,” which didn’t go through.
The Titans are ranked 4th in the AFC South and ended their season with a 3-14 record, just behind the Browns. They, however, have the advantage of holding the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
As the Browns look at a familiar face to take Stefanski’s place, it is yet to be seen how the new coach fares, given his treatment by fans and media this season. And which team do you think Stefanski will choose? Tell us in the comments.
